PAN Norms

SEBI has made it mandatory for investors to submit their PAN number as a sole identification number for all their security market transactions.
As such, effective from 1st January 2008, investors will have to submit a copy of their PAN card (irrespective of amount invested) while investing in mutual funds. This is applicable to all investors including individual investors, joint applicants / holders, guardians and NRI’s.

Pan card copy can be submitted at DISPL front offices along with the original for verification which will be returned back immediately, or the copy can be attested by a manager of a scheduled commercial bank, notary public or gazette officer, or your distributor.
